Introducing Luxury
Accessories from Kiska Imports
New York, March 15, 2007 – Kiska Imports announced the US debut
of architecturally inspired Boma Bags. Juxtaposing unique elements and
style, with a signature clean, modern silhouette, these bags create a
statement of originality and elegance. Designed by South American
architect Luis Sepulveda and entirely hand-crafted, they offer a natural
vide with eclectic materials. Featuring rich, warm and classic tones in
a diversity of shapes.
“When I first saw these bags I had to have one. Now wherever I go
people stop to ask me where I got such a unique bag. This is the first
bag I’ve ever carried that caused men to actually notice!” says
Kiska’s co-founder Amanda Chehrezad. Each bag is comprised of farmed
Caribbean Pine and genuine Colombian Leather leading to the
unconventional, structured look.
Luis Sepulveda began creating the Boma Bags by using scrap wood pieces
from his architectural projects. “We wanted to use wood in a way
that created beautiful fashion to be worn not just admired through
buildings or furniture,” Sepulveda stated. With 10 years of
experience making handbags, backpacks, buckets bags, and clutches, his
confidence, style and quality show in each piece. He hopes to expand
his collection to also feature belts, jewelry, and wallets.
